Cynical, very shy and unstable student. Film freak who watches all kinds of films from brainless comedies to serious dramas and art-house cinema. Fan of Stanley Kubrick, Terry Gilliam, Wong Kar-Wai and Pedro Almodóvar.

For every item I have rated, you can find comment somewhere. But they are most likely on Finnish. My film ratings:

½ = Utterly, totally, completely horrible crap, which I wouldn't recommend even to my worst enemy. Can be used for torture.

* = Totally unpleasant piece of crap which puts a shame on all industry. Avoid at all costs.

*½ = Horrible, but has one or two good points and because of them ain't total crap.

** = Bad, but has a few good ideas which make it kind of 'watch once' -type of film.

**½ = Average but watchable. Kinda average in all ways. Something good, something bad.

*** = OK. Little bit better than average but still nothing special.

***½ = Good film, has few flaws but you can without a doubt recommend it to friends of the genre.

**** = Great and accomplished piece of cinema that no-one should miss. Sometimes also a great film, which didn't still touch me personally.

****½ = Pretty much a five star film (see the description for that) with some disturbing minor flaws.

***** = One of a kind masterpiece that provokes thoughts and emotions. May have flaws, but they don't make the film any worse.
